Starting the process of creating a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of families dealing with young-onset Alzheimer's disease. Responsible for all areas of the development of the organization, including marketing, event planning, registration with the IRS, and more.

NEXTgen Digital Marketing                                                            
Founder and CEO              
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of NEXTgen, a digital marketing firm specializing in prep marketing, helping high school students and student-athletes attain often tough-to-find college scholarships. NEXTgen makes use of 100% digital distribution, including new "page-flip" technology.

Freelance Copywriter
Performed copywriting work on CE's Chevrolet-related accounts, including work for the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, as well as for Team Chevy, Chevrolet's NASCAR publication.

GoTime Media
Publisher and Editor – MiSports Magazine
Overseeing all aspects of the publishing process, including distribution, subscriber base development, marketing, generation of brand awareness, hiring and managing of writers and interns, and creation of sales materials. Also responsible for all story development, writing of feature and filler material, editing according to AP guidelines, and working with Art Director to ensure solid and professional design. Also working with GoTime to assist in the development of new titles using my years of publication start-up experience.

Also responsible for the direction, style, and content of all related marketing and sales materials.

Initiation and investigation into internal theft cases. Recognition and apprehension of shoplifters. Check/Credit fraud investigations for local Law Enforcement. Was a member of the number one ranked LP team in the company during my time with Sears.  

Motor City Sports Magazine

As founder and part-owner, responsibilities included assembling a writing staff, managing content and layout of the magazine, managing the editorial budget, editing according to the AP Stylebook, initiating relationships with area professional sports teams, working with sales representatives to increase advertising sales revenues through the production of quality marketing materials, and writing/editing of monthly columns.
